You move well in water. Your base swim speed is 2. Normally if you are in water you suffer a penalty on any attempt to dodge, and you start to drown if you are down or gain interference.

  • Swim: Moving in water deep enough to submerse you uses the Swim Mastery. Strong currents or bad conditions apply a –1 (or more) Penalty to the roll. On roll where you can’t pay for the Penalties you Drown. Note that if Penalties exist and you don’t roll, then you automatically don’t have the Pairs to spend.

Default Evolutions

    • Breath Control: When you would drown you suffer 1 grit instead. If you are out of grit you begin to drown normally.
    • Water Adept: You gain +1 swim speed and a bonus to any strength check or strength skill under water.
    • Water Shark: You gain +1 swim speed and ignore the penalty for charging in water.

Special Evolutions

    • High Diver: When you fall and land in water and suffer no effects.
