Foundation Stone Wanderer
Foundation Stone monastery is technically an Outsider religious organization, but it is much better known throughout Shiyan for its physical training regiment. Many join the monastery to become monks or nuns more for the fighting skills than any belief in the Dharma philosophy. Shalin's fighting style is a 'hard' style, emphasizing external physical power and force over internal magical energy. Fully indoctrinated monks and nuns are often sent out to do good deeds and spread the word of the Outsider. Deep Stone Foundation masters are also often instructors or guards around temples, and are occasionally tasked with hunting down dangerous outcasts who have gained Deep Stone Foundation training but are using it for evil.

The Holy Fool is something of an aberration within the priesthood. They often break rules of the order (especially the prohibitions against meat and wine) and are incorrigible trouble-makers. However these fools have some intrinsic holiness or heroism that the rest of the Order recognizes. They are tolerated, but only barely, and they usually cause the Masters and Priests great discomfort. The main difference between an Outcast and a Fool is the Fool holds unwaveringly to some kind of righteous code (even if it isn't always the Outsider's or the monastery's), while the Outcast has forsaken such honor.
